§ 10.28.050. Parking permits.

  • Except as provided in section 10.28.060 of this chapter, parking in county parking facilities shall be regulated by the following permits and devices:

    A.

    Blue triangle permit, blue diamond permit or blue square permit—A vehicle properly displaying this permit may be parked in the employee-only areas of all county parking facilities, provided any applicable fee has been paid.

    B.

    White triangle permit, red diamond permit or blue and yellow square permit—A vehicle properly displaying this permit may be parked in the employee-only or the public-only areas of all county parking facilities, provided any applicable fee has been paid.

    C.

    Parking placard permit—A vehicle properly displaying this permit may be parked in the employee-only or the public-only areas of all county parking facilities, provided any applicable fee has been paid.

    D.

    Carpool parking permit—A vehicle properly displaying this permit may be parked in carpool-only areas of all county parking facilities for an unlimited time period, provided the vehicle displaying the carpool permit is a marked county vehicle or also properly displays a Blue Triangle Permit, a Blue diamond Permit, or a Blue Square Permit.

    E.

    Parking validation stamp—A person in possession of a stamp(s) may park his vehicle in a county parking structure for the total time of the validation without paying the usually required fee.

    F.

    Parking access device—A person in possession of this device may enter and exit county parking facilities, accesses to which are controlled.

    G.

    Parking vouchers—A person may obtain a parking voucher from the clerk of the board when attending a scheduled meeting of the board of supervisors to testify or address the board. A person in possession of a parking voucher may park their vehicle in the county-owned parking garages located at 12 th Street, Lemon Street (County Administration Center) and 10 th Street during the board meeting without paying the usually required fee.
