§ 10.28.090. Prohibited activities relating to parking.

  • No county employee, on or off duty, shall park a vehicle in public-only areas of any county parking facility, unless the vehicle properly displays a white triangle permit, a red diamond permit, a blue and yellow square permit or a parking placard permit. No county employee or any other person shall do any of the following:

    A.

    Park in a designated handicapped space, without displaying a special license plate or placard issued in accordance with Vehicle Code Section 22511.5.

    B.

    Park in an area not designated for parking.

    C.

    Park in a designated red zone.

    D.

    Park in a reserved space without the appropriate authorization.

    E.

    Park a county vehicle in a public-only parking area, without displaying a white triangle permit, a red diamond permit, a blue and yellow square permit or a parking placard permit.

    F.

    Park outside the confines of a parking space.

    G.

    Occupy more than one parking space.

    H.

    Block or obstruct a driveway, toll booth, or another vehicle.

    I.

    Fail to display a required parking permit.

    J.

    Fail to pay a required monthly parking fee.

    K.

    Fail to pay a required exit fee.

    L.

    Facilitate a person's failure to pay a required exit fee by allowing him to use a parking access device that he was not issued.

    M.

    Violate a parking time limit.
