§ 2.08.010. Office hours designated.

A.

All county and other officers of the county keep their offices open for the transaction of business from nine a.m. to five p.m. every day except as follows:

1.

Every Sunday;

2.

Every Saturday;

3.

January 1st;

4.

Third Monday in January;

5.

February 12th;

6.

Third Monday in February;

7.

Last Monday in May;

8.

July 4th;

9.

First Monday in September;

10.

Second Monday in October;

11.

November 11th;

12.

Thanksgiving Day, which shall be the fourth Thursday in November unless otherwise appointed;

13.

Friday following Thanksgiving Day;

14.

December 24th and 31st when they fall on Monday;

15.

December 25th;

16.

December 26th and January 2nd, when they fall on Friday;

17.

Friday preceding January 1st, February 12th, July 4th, November 11th or December 25th, when such date falls on Saturday; the Monday following such date when such date falls on a Sunday.

B.

The board of supervisors may, by resolution, alter the days and/or hours for which a county office may be open for the transaction of business, when those hours are at variance from those specified in subsection A of this section.
