This chapter is adopted pursuant to Government Code sections 25537, 25350.51, and
25526.6. The board of supervisors may, by ordinance, 1) establish an alternative procedure,
than those procedures required by sections 25526 to 25535, for leasing and licensing
of any real property belonging to, leased by, or licensed by, the county and may delegate
authority with limitations to a county officer(s) deemed appropriate to execute such
leases and licenses; 2) authorize, with limitations, a county officer it deems appropriate
to obtain by lease or license real property for the use by the county.
