Title 4. REVENUE AND FINANCE |
Chapter 4.88. ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM |
§ 4.88.010. Findings.
Latest version.
The board of supervisors finds that the intent of the neighborhood stabilization program ("program") is to mitigate the impacts of increasing foreclosures within the county. The program requires the expenditure of funds on foreclosed and abandoned real properties within eighteen (18) months of receipt of grant funds. This short time period and the nature of purchasing foreclosed and abandoned real properties necessitate an expedited procedure to approve and accept the acquisition of real property.
