§ 1.08.060. Establishment of boundaries—Findings and factors.

  • The board of supervisors hereby finds and determines, upon the basis of reported results of the 2010 decennial federal census, that the boundaries of said supervisorial districts have been adjusted so that the districts are nearly equal in population as may be and so that the districts comply with the applicable provisions of Section 1973 of Title 42 of the United States Code, as amended. In establishing the boundaries of the districts, the board also gave consideration to the following factors: (a) topography, (b) geography, (c) cohesiveness, contiguity, integrity, and compactness of territory, and (d) community of interests of the districts.
