§ 2.64.020. Declaration of need.

Pursuant to Section 40521 of the Government Code, the authority shall not transact any business until the board of supervisors of the county declares by ordinance that there is a need for the authority to function in the county.

For the above specified reasons and pursuant to Chapter 19 of Part 2 of Division 3 of Title 4 of the Government Code, Section 40500, et seq., it is determined and declared that there is need for the authority to function in the county.
